If it resembles the below image on the outside:
And also looks similar to this on the inside:
I will have to give it a solid look. The current 2 drives well and is reasonably fun, however, I wouldn't mind seeing a bump in power. Also, the interior of the current gen leaves me wanting more.
What say you, Oppo?

As long as you can still get it in tree frog green.

I'm not a fan of that new Mazda front end. The last one looked MUCH better. This one makes me thing they are trying a little too hard to imitate the current Mercedes grill...but that just my two cents.

It looks good on the 6.... the 3 is okay, but the 2 is too small to wear it well.

Agreed. except that I think the new 3 is a little too big though. Looks like a hatchback 6 rather than it's own beast. (I also have a 6)

When they announced the 3 was going to be on a modified CX-5/Mazda6 chassis, I knew that might happen.... they are smaller IRL and feel smaller to drive though. The 6 just shrunk a bit TOO much from the previous gen.

I think every manufacturer is going for the gaping maw thing. Not sure why, but I feel it works here. I'm not lost on understated style though and I agree the current gen is very attractive.

My mother owns a 2011 Mazda2. It was a rental before we owned it, she wanted to get a brand new 2015 but once she saw it wasn't smiling anymore she said "I'll just keep Tommy!" (it's tomato red)

A lot of people (surprisingly to me) thought the smile made the car. I, on the other hand disagree. I'm probably wrong but I rather like my cars to look a little angry.

Every car looks angry these days. A smile is a refreshingly unique appearance for vehicles.

I agree to a point. But then I saw this:
I couldn't recover.

I agree. Probably going to have to drive one when it comes out.
